Steven is a versatile and immensely talented tattooer- illustration is in
his blood. Having attended the High School of Art and Design, he
went on to the School of Visual Arts, preparing himself for a lifetime
of doodling and tattooing.In the burgeoning hardcore scene in New York City, Steven designed t-shirts, posters, and stickers for legendary bands: Madball, Sick of it All, Murphy's Law, Crown of Thornz, and many others. The mix of hardcore music and art inevitably led him to begin tattooing, and like a modern day swashbuckler without the swash or the buckle, Steven has been tattooing for over a decade in New York City.
Having worked in different shops with many different artists, he is constantly expanding his repertoire and artistic vocabulary. Steven is comfortable tattooing all things large and small while still producing fine art included in several gallery shows in Manhattan and Brooklyn. He has also tattooed as a guest artist in various shops in North America, Europe, and Japan. If he's not holding a pencil or a tattoo machine in his hand, he's probably clutching two White Castle murder-burgers and chorizo links. Ride the lightning, baby, ride the lightning.
